Erasmus For Young Entrepreneurs – end of a superb programme

¡Hola! It's Kincso. My four-month Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme with Tenerife Job Training is slowly coming to an end... I'm going to feel pretty sad when I'll be there at the airport, waiting to scan my boarding pass… but I take home with me much more than my checked baggage. I take with me all the experience, knowledge, good advice, adventure, care, and kindness that I have earned here.

The months I spent with Tenerife Job Training gave me professional confidence; a much more realistic picture of entrepreneurial life, and the day-to-day challenges, but also outlined my business plan and brought me closer to the idea that my firm could become a reality.

Here I learned that this way of lifestyle requires constant flexibility and vigilance; adaptability to change; spontaneity and fast reaction; good knowledge of human nature and clear boundaries. My skills in teamwork and communication developed. I learned how an effective work should be well organized; how not to get lost in the details and to use my common sense: thinking outside the box!

I gained practical experience in working in an international environment with various cultural backgrounds. I realized that to find and address well my target client group, on the right platform and at the same time ask for feedback and incorporate it into the future service is important.

It was one of the best decisions to apply for the EYE programme and to learn from the girls from Tenerife Job Training. In Marivi, as a mentor, I met a sparkling and balanced person, who is in love with life :-) She encouraged me both professionally and as a person. I'm thankful for our work and conversations! 

Last but not least, I’m pleased that I met people who really love what they do, and I’m sure that is and will always be part of their success!
