With a background and passion for tourism I landed in Tenerife more than 25 years ago and worked in some of the most amazing hotels of this wonderful island. In 2008 I founded Tenerife Job Training aiming to help students on their learning experiences abroad, specially when coming to The Canary Islands. Today, after more than 13 years in this amazing project called TJT. I am still full of passion, with new ideas to keep working in Educational Tourism. We have overcome the most difficult times in 2020 and now we are full of energy to keep working in #travellingtolearn and #learningbytravelling.

Paula, born in Tenerife, has been part of our team since 2019. She has a degree in Tourism from the University of La Laguna and an expert in Communication, Marketing and Digital Commerce. During her career, she has worked as Revenue Management Assistant, contributing her knowledge to hotels and holiday accommodation in the south of Tenerife.

Her love for her land and her passion for tourism excellence have prompted her to be interested in educational tourism on the island. A type of tourism that, according to her, brings great benefits for both the tourist, in this case, our students, as for the receiving destination.

With great enthusiasm, I can introduce myself as Sandra, the latest addition to the Tenerife Job Training team. I’m graduated in Tourism at the Complutense University of Madrid (the city where I was born), but it didn´t take me long to fall in love with Tenerife when I arrived 17 years ago to do my professional internships (like the students of TJT!).

I started my professional career working in the service quality, customer service and human resources department for a great hotel company, but my entrepreneurial mindset guided me to travel to a Polynesia island with my own adventure tourism business. I was there for 3 years living a wonderful experience in an ancient culture. Back in Tenerife, I raised a family and continued working around the tourism industry.

Lover of nature, reading and healthy living, I love the idea of ​​contributing my experience to the world of academic tourism, where we are the main destination in Europe, with the purpose of supporting and adding to this community that is Tenerife Job Training.
