Carnival with Tenerife Job Training: my point of view

January and February were very busy months for Tenerife Job Training, given the Carnival period, where we organised and participated in several activities. One of this was the course "Spanish & Carnival’ : together with Eva (Spanish teacher) the participants were able to combine learning and tradition in a dynamic and authentic context, also having the opportunity to go to backstage at the most anticipated events of the Carnaval. In parallel, we worked with numerous trainees, including several groups of make-up artists who had the opportunity to make up the Murgas and other iconic figures of the Carnival. This was thanks to our collaboration with the island's most prestigious designers, including Santi Castro, Daniel Pages and Alexis Santana. The work was a lot, especially since in parallel our daily work continued at full speed and it was difficult for me to handle a higher workload than usual, working both in the south and north of the island, but thanks to the team everything went well. The commitment was therefore double, as well as the personal satisfaction of seeing the participants grow in these challenging contexts and see the successes achieved. Among these, I want to mention the thanks from the Major of Santa Cruz de Tenerife that received us at the City Counsil to thank Marivi and all our guys who contributed to the good output of the Carnival.
