Tenerife Spanish & Carnival Training Course

This is one of our most unique programmes. This training course combines learning Spanish with practical activities and visits with local institutions and professionals through the most interesting and unique sites of Tenerife related to carnival experiences. Tenerife Carnival is one of the most ancient carnivals in all Europe, and this course will provide you the opportunity to live it from the inside.

We have worked since 2010 with Tenerife Carnival Official Designers Association receiving adult students during the previous months of one of the world most famous carnivals in the world after Rio de Janeiro. The experience of learning how to create costumes around five metres high with spectacular designs is an unforgettable experience.

The course has a duration of 5 days, starting on Monday.

EXAMPLE OF THE PROGRAMME:

Day one and day two: Spanish lessons from 9am to 13pm, with an official Spanish teacher.

Day 3: afternoon/evening activity: Election of the Queen of the Tenerife Carnival 2023. Previous gala back stage with exclusive access and VIP access to the Gala event.

Day 4: Visit to ateliers and carnival groups.

Day 5: Guided visit to the City Carnival Museum in Santa Cruz city area and visit to local markets. In the afternoon, Carnival Main Apoteosis Opening Parade.

The price includes:

• Spanish lessons with an official Spanish teacher. Materials and books.

• VIP entrance to both, back stage previous gala and VIP access to Gala Election of The Queen of Carnival (the most important event of the Carnival)

• All the tickets and transport included in the detailed programme.

• English/Spanish speaking guide included during the experience and an accompanying person from TJT during activities.

• Transport from the south Tenerife area to the city activities.

Accommodation is NOT included. Accommodation option can be quoted single or shared apartment. TJT has a special price for bookings made before the 31st December 2022.

Tenerife Carnival is usually celebrated every year in the month of February and for this reason this programme will have according dates to the Carnival agenda.
